Maggie M Prop and Rudder

The above picture is typical of the level of information provided in the manual provided by Model Slipway   The propeller shaft and rudder were fitted which involved drilling holes in the hull, always a stressful moment, but it passed without incident.

The motor mount is a block of wood bonded in with P38 filler. The motor is screwed down to the wood with 4 self tapping screws. Using P38 under the wood allowed it to be positioned to get the motor in perfect line with the prop. It was a simple case of holding the motor for 5 mins while the filler set.

With the prop shaft bonded in the Becker rudder could be final assembled.
